Sendirea is a monotypic Genus from one(or more?) islands of Japan. it was formerly placed in Aerides(spell it backwards and you get Sendirea, creative huh?) IIRC its also sorta in the Vanda alliance. anyways this individual plant is in a 2 inch pot and has about a 3.5 inch leaf span. im not sure how much bigger its going to get but probably not much. i think its a must get easy grower for anyone who grows orchids on a window sill or under lights like i do. it doesnt take a terrible amount of effort to find and doesnt cost an arm and a leg, i think i paid $20 or so for this blooming sized plant.
as to all my pictures, im using a 35 mm camera and scanning the negs, im not going through all that trouble and time for just one pic
